Brain Space Collaborators Story
Marsha and Leslie initially crossed paths on the very first day of naturopathic medical school in the fall of 2004. Bonded by a shared curiosity and commitment to the healing power of nature, they quickly discovered their mutual passions: natural medicine, exploring the outdoors, and a fascination with human physiology.Over the past two decades, their friendship and professional collaboration have grown alongside their dedication to the naturopathic principle of docere - “doctor as teacher.” With this guiding philosophy, they envisioned creating a space where clinicians and the public alike could access meaningful, research-based, and practical education.
Brain Space Education is the brainchild of this long-standing partnership—a platform born from years of shared clinical experience, curiosity, and the desire to make a deep and lasting impact on healthcare through education and information sharing.

Marsha Hamilton, ND
Hey, I’m Dr. Marsha, a naturopathic physician with 16 years of clinical experience, a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner (MSCP), lifelong athlete, and founder of Flow Natural Health Care and the Wild Pursuits Method.
My athletic journey began as a competitive swimmer and grew into a lifelong love of mountain adventures. After moving to the Pacific Northwest, I graduated from the National University of Natural Medicine with a focus on women’s health and opened my clinical practice in 2009. Over the years, I’ve specialized in supporting active and athletic women through perimenopause and menopause—helping them stay strong, vibrant, and empowered during these transitions.
That depth of clinical experience, combined with my passion for functional medicine and individualized care, inspired me to co-create Brain Space Education with Dr. Fuller—an online continuing education platform for physicians. Through Brain Space, I share the tools, science, and practical strategies that clinicians need to better support their patients in midlife and beyond.

Leslie Fuller, ND
Welcome, great to have you here—I’m Leslie. I’ve been immersed in the world of neurology and disability care since I was 19 years old, and it has guided the course of my entire career. I graduated from the National University of Natural Medicine in 2009, completed a two-year residency, and went on to build a clinical practice that I have maintained for 16 years.
Alongside patient care, teaching has always been one of my deepest passions. For over 20 years, I’ve been dedicated to teaching neurology, and today I’m a full-time professor of clinical neurology, nutritional and functional approaches to neurologic care, as well as diagnosis and integrative management of internal medicine conditions. I love bringing the science to life for students and clinicians—connecting the dots between complex physiology and the lived experience of patients.
That blend of long-term teaching, clinical experience, and a lifelong focus on neurology inspired me to co-create Brain Space Education with Dr. Hamilton. Through Brain Space, I get to share practical tools, integrative strategies, and evidence-based insights to help clinicians confidently navigate neurologic conditions in real-world practice.
